But when his former employer, First Sector Overlord Andre Marin ordered him to take a desk job on Trisdos, Blade started looking for a way out. A chance meeting with an unlikely group of young men looking to make a name for themselves as mercenaries provided him with the escape from responsibility that he needed. Trading on his Inner Circle training and his Predator certification, Blade convinced them to let him train them and in return, help him stay clear of the Inner Circle and Andre Marin.
